about
Premiered in November 2019 by the Concordia recorder consort, "The deconstruction of a dream" explores how the concept of dreaming mediates between between our waking and sleeping lives. As we attempt to discern between our dreams and our reality, we often find ourselves in a liminal space between these two certainties; this can often become an entirely new reality, in which meaning is recontextualised within a realm of infinite possibilities.
